Creating Video for Cabtivate^® system

File Formats
For best results, we request any video that has to be edited by Cabtivate^® to be supplied as the following:

• Uncompressed Quicktime on CD-Rom
• Uncompressed AVI on CD-Rom
• DV on CD-Rom

We can also accept the following video formats, although re-compression may introduce artefacts and/or adversely affect the quality of playback.

• MPEG 2
• MPEG 1
• MPEG 4
• Compressed Quicktime
• Compressed AVI

As always, final output is dependent on the quality of the supplied source material.

We can also accept DigiBeta and Mini-DV, although a conversion fee will be applicable.

In addition, we can accept Macromedia Flash ‘.fla’ files for outputting to our video specification, although a conversion fee will be applicable.

All audio MUST be normalised to 0dB. Audio that does not meet this specification may have to be resubmitted.

Creating Audio for Cabtivate^® system

• CD Digital Audio on CD-Rom
• 16-bit Stereo 44.1 Khz WAV on CD-Rom
• 16-bit Stereo 44.1 Khz AIFF on CD-Rom
• DV on CD-Rom

We can also accept the following video formats, although re-compression may introduce artefacts and/or adversely affect the quality of playback.

• MP3

As always, final output is dependent on the quality of the supplied source material.

All audio MUST be normalised to 0dB. Audio that does not meet this specification may have to be resubmitted.

Creating Display Advert for the Cabtivate^® system

Displays should be supplied to us as an uncompressed TIFF file, with a screen resolution (72 dpi) of 1024 px by 768 px.

The Cabtivate^® system uses a high contrast, wide viewing angle 15" LCD panel to display visual content within the black taxis.

The passenger(s) are situated approximately 120 cm from the screen. This should be considered when creating artwork, as smaller font sizes may be illegible to some passengers - we suggest font sizes of 20 points or higher, although smaller sizes can work if contrasted enough.

File Formats
When creating Premium Display images for a client in-house, we can accept all of the major image file formats including:

• TIF, JPEG, BMP, PSD, EPS, AI, PDF, WMF, TGA, GIF

Client supplied Premium Display images must be created to the following specification:

• 1024 x 768 px uncompressed TIF
